Shopping sustainably shouldn't mean hours of research, confusing labels and second-guessing every purchase. That's why we started EcoQik: to do the hard work for you, so you can choose better products with confidence.
We look for products that are kinder to the planet, made from sustainable materials wherever possible and built to last. But we also think being eco means looking at the whole picture, including what a product costs to run, not just what it costs to buy.
Take air fryers. We had a ten-year-old model that we'd already repaired once, and our instinct was to keep it going. But when we did the maths, a newer model came out ahead: better motors and insulation meant shorter cooking times and lower running costs.
Sometimes the greenest choice is keeping what you have. Sometimes it's replacing it with something far more efficient. We do the sums so you don't have to.
Finding genuinely eco products takes time. We spend that time for you. Sometimes that means a close look at one standout product. Other times it means comparing the options in a small category side by side, so you can see which one really earns its place.
Some links on our site and social channels are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never decides what we recommend: products earn their place on merit, and we'll always tell you about the downsides too.
